Today, Gerda is a whole new dog — cheerful, active, and full of life. She thrives on human attention, always ready for kind words, warm hugs, and long walks. She loves playing games, jumping, running, and sharing moments of joy with the people she trusts. Her lively spirit makes her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle.

Gerda is about three years old, weighs 17 kg (37 lbs), and is a healthy, sterilized mixed Shepherd. She’s smart, learns quickly, and walks well on a leash. Around people, she’s friendly and affectionate. With dogs, she’s selective — she gets along with males and with females only if there’s no aggression shown toward her. She has no experience with cats, so introductions should be careful. For children, she’s fine as long as they’re not too small, since her playful energy might be overwhelming for toddlers.

After all the challenges she’s faced, Gerda deserves a home where she is the only dog, receiving all the love and attention she’s been denied in the past. Under our care, she has already begun her journey toward a brighter future — now, she just needs the right family to make it complete.
