Story: In a small village in Ukraine, where war has become part of daily life, Piksa - a little girl and one of seven puppies born to a homeless dog - came into the world. Unfortunately, not everyone welcomed her arrival with open arms. Some people even considered getting rid of the puppies, as no one could take care of them. Others wanted to save them, but the harsh realities of war made it difficult.
We couldn’t abandon Piksa to such a fate. Our organization decided to give her a chance at life, rescuing her from what seemed like an inevitable end. We brought her to our shelter in Kyiv, where she is now surrounded by care and love. But Piksa still needs a loving family, a home where she will be cherished and given the affection she deserves.
Piksa has survived the horrors of war and life on the streets, and now she needs a real home. Let’s help her find a family together! If you can welcome Piksa into your home or support our shelter, please reach out to us. Together, we can give her a future.
