Story: In a small village in Ukraine, where war has become part of daily life, Mrija — a little girl and one of seven puppies born to a homeless dog — came into the world. Sadly, not everyone was happy about her arrival. Some even considered getting rid of the puppies, as there was no one to care for them. Others wanted to save them, but in the harsh conditions of war, opportunities were limited.
We couldn't leave Mrija and her siblings to face such a tragic fate. Our organization stepped in, giving them a chance at life by rescuing them from what seemed like an inevitable end. We brought them to our shelter in Kyiv, where they are now surrounded by love and care. But Mrija is still waiting for a family — a home where she will be cherished and cared for.
