Lissa
Sex: Female
Age: about 6 years
Health: Healthy, veterinary treated, sterilized
Size: medium
Weight: 15-19 kg
Good with dogs: Yes

Character: Lissa is very friendly, no problems with other dogs. She has never lived with children or cats but she’s never shown any signs of aggression. She is leash-trained. She’s never lived in a home, but since she’s an adult, she would probably be toilet trained in 1-5 days.

Story: Lissa was brought to a shelter near Kyiv when she was just a young dog. She was very lucky to have been brought to a well run shelter, but sadly because street dogs are not popular for adoption in Ukraine, Lissa was at that shelter for almost 6 years. Horrifically, areas near Peppa’s shelter were invaded by the Russian military and many shelters were cutoff from everything for 5 weeks. Everyone feared the region where Lissa’s shelter was located would be the next region to be occupied, so Lissa was evacuated from Ukraine.

Lissa spent her whole life in an animal shelter, but did never lose hope of finding her family. Are you looking for a loyal friend? Adopt Lissa!
