She wandered alone along the road for a long time, confused and scared. Luckily, drivers kept stopping not to hit her. At that very moment, Katya, a member of our team, was passing by and couldn’t ignore this little soul in trouble. That’s how Chico found safety. At the clinic, it turned out that Chico is already a senior dog, her eyesight is weak, and she is under a lot of stress. But it was immediately clear — Chico once had a home: she knows the leash and walks beautifully on it. Her delicate nature and the habits of a house dog speak for themselves.
How and why she ended up scared and alone on the road, we don’t know — though sadly, we can guess. When Chico first came to us, she was exhausted and refused to eat, unable to understand why she was surrounded by strangers. Her eyes were filled with despair and sadness — as if she was asking: “Where is my home? Why am I here?”Little by little, Chico began to recover, started eating again, and even enjoys her walks now. She has a very gentle and sensitive character. She is a bit timid, doesn’t like loud noises or fuss. It is difficult for her to be among active dogs, so she will feel best in a calm home — perhaps with other older or very well-balanced animals. She is not a dog for noisy walks and constant activity. Chico is for someone who dreams of a tender, calm companion, ready to share quiet moments, warmth, and affection.👉 Chico is waiting for her person, someone who will give her peace, love, and the certainty that she will never again be unwanted.
