Dogs Available to Adopt in the US
Adoption Fee: The adoption fee for Ukrainian dogs consists of titer test fee of $150 and transportation fee of $800. The total adoption fee of $950 covers about ⅔ of the cost to get the dog from Ukraine to the US, the rest is raised by Transform A Street Dog’s volunteers. For every animal that is adopted, we take another suffering animal off of the street and start preparing them for life as a pet. In the program, animals receive necessary medical care, food, shelter, and obedience training. The adoption fees are 100% tax deductible as we are a registered 501c3.
Timing: The time to import a dog from Ukraine to the US can range from 60-90 days. We order titer tests, apply for needed CDC permits, prepare other health documents, search for flight volunteers and arrange the flight.
Dogs Available to Adopt in the EU countries
Transform A Street Dog’s mission is to support animal activists in Ukraine and other countries experiencing overwhelming street dog crises. Thank you for your interest in adopting a former street dog.
Adoption Fee: Our transportation/document fee for DOGS traveling within Europe is $500 USD. $150 of this is for the titer test and is due at the time the test must be taken. The remaining $350 is due the night before your animal is transported to the final destination. If the remaining cost for transportation is less than $350, you will pay the LESSER amount. If the cost of transportation is more than $350 we will subsidize the cost. If you adopt a dog from Paws of Love in Romania, the fee is 380 Euros for transportation to Germany. All of those dogs already have titer certificates.

We are a registered 501c3 in the USA and we are also a registered NGO in Ukraine so these fees may be tax deductible in your country.
Due to new CDC restrictions and fees there will be an additional $250 CDC fee.
We need help from animal lovers like you to save more street dogs from suffering.
