Lady's Story.

Dear friends, we want to tell you a story about a Lady, a dog with deformed eyes, burnt and permanently blinded by a missile blast… She wandered alone on the streets of Bucha, Kyiv region…

She suffered for days because the eyes that became these frightening balls caused her terrible suffering. After the Russian troops left the northern part of Kyiv, the neighbors of the people who left Lady alone called volunteers and saved her.

Lady is a beautiful dog, forever lost in the dark, but now she’s learning to live blind. Lady though charming and full of life and always needing affection, she is now alone, no one wants to adopt her because of her disability, despite her kindness

Lady received treatment, now her health is fine, except blindness. She is very sad, very afraid to be alone in the room, and begins to cry. Lady needs human warmth and care, she needs someone she trusts to be there for. Lady calms down when she feels there are people around. She can’t do it by herself, and our heart aches so much when we imagine how she can stay in a cage forever, alone in the dark.

Now she is under the care of one of the volunteer organizations in Kyiv. We really want to help Lady find people who can take care of her
