Character: Curious, smart, wise, affectionate dog, loves to run and enjoy life.
He is not leash-trained yet. He’s never lived in a home, but since he’s an adult, he would probably be toilet trained in 1-2 weeks
Story: He likes attention to himself, but he is trapped in his emotions, therefore, if you have already approached them, they do not mind scratching, but in the first minutes, in most cases, they will not be the first to approach. He afraid of men, they love women more.
Ray is a wonderful dog, sincere, but scared. He found himself in shelter as a puppy, and as it almost always happens, he became invisible to the world. There was almost no chance that someone would take him home, despite the fact that this incredible dog really deserves to be the most beloved pet.
This is how it passed year after year in the shelter… And suddenly the war started.
Of course, Ray did not understand what happened, why it became so scary, why it started to thunder so loudly, why it exploded so close, why they stopped feeding and he no longer saw his familiar people.
So he wanted just hide as far away as possible from all this terrible things, but there was no such place, there was only an enclosure, his cage
... that's how Ray spent a month under occupation.
He miraculously survived. He has not lost his optimism and joy in simple things, he is just as kind and cheerful as he always was. Of course, stress leaves its traces, but Ray seems to know some secret, the secret of how not to forget the most important thing, to enjoy every moment and every manifestation of kindness (an act of kindness) on his way.
He will gladly teach you.
Ray was evacuated to our temporary shelter, during active fightings in Kyiv.
He does not have to spend his whole life in a shelter, please give him a chance.
