Gerry and another dog, Neo are going to their new homes to the US for Christmas They already crossed the border yesterday!

Two American veterans adopted them! One of them is Rick, a volunteer from the US, who came to our peretrymka (kennel) in Stryi to help. He worked very hard at Stryi, he made so many animals happy and more trusting and gave them attention they never had. He decided to adopt Gerry and bring him to the US with him. And his friend, who is also a veteran, decided to adopt a Ukrainian dog too

Gerry is from Ternopil, his owners left the house and left the animals locked in the back yard. The neighbors didn’t know what to do because the dogs were crying, they were hungry and didn’t have anything to drink. So the neighbors broke into the yard to save the dogs and made a post on Facebook. We noticed this post and agreed to take them to our peretrymka (kennel) in Stryi

Neo was found by our teammate Nastya She was out with our van the other day and saw a lonely dog Neo. The dog was exhausted, very hungry and thirsty He came easily to Nastya when she tried to take him. She couldn’t leave him there alone, so she brought him to our peretrymka (kennel) in Stryi, Lviv region! He also had some problems with his eyes, so Nastya brought him to the vet and got medicine for his eyes
