Our team helps animal victims of the war in Ukraine every day! Please donate to help us rescue more dogs like this one
You may have seen our posts ( The story of a dog from Chernihiv and an Update of story about this dog) about the poor dog from the nearly destroyed city of Chernihiv, Ukraine? Someone tied something around his neck and as he grew up, this thing cut into his neck, causing a deep, infected wound. It was awful
It’s scary to think what pain this dog felt, he was silently wandering the streets with this terrible wound for probably 1-2 years. He was in the street when the rockets hit the buildings, the sirens sounded every day, the tanks drove in the street. Imagine how scared he was. Nobody could or wanted to help him
Our volunteer caught the dog and took him to a clinic in Kyiv. The wound was cleaned and bandaged. Every day he was given antibiotics and painkillers. Every day the doctors changed the bandage
And look at him now! The wound is healed and he’s much better! Vishuddah is now at our Zhytomyr petetrymka (kennel) house, where he is very well cared for! We’re so happy for him
