Norda’s Journey: From Mariupol to a New Home
💛 Norda Is On Her Way to Her Forever Home!
Every rescue story is special, but Norda’s journey is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people come together to help a dog in need.
Norda comes from Mariupol, a city that has suffered greatly because of the war. Like so many animals caught in the conflict, she found herself in an uncertain and dangerous situation, relying on the kindness of strangers for a chance at a better future.
Thankfully, another rescue organization was able to evacuate Norda from Mariupol to Kyiv, bringing her one step closer to safety. From there, our teammate Katya welcomed her and helped continue her journey.
Later, our team met Lisa and Hal in Lviv, where the next chapter of Norda’s adventure began. Together, they coordinated the long trip that would take her toward her forever home in Northern Europe.
Behind every successful rescue are countless acts of kindness. Norda’s journey required dedicated volunteers, careful planning, long hours on the road, and teamwork across different cities and countries. Many people played a role in making sure she would have the opportunity to start a new life.
And now, the moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived.

After everything she has been through, she is finally heading toward a future filled with safety, comfort, and love. No more uncertainty. No more waiting. Just the chance to be a cherished member of a family that will love her for the rest of her life.
