🐾 Meet Brown — Our New Rescue

This is the beginning of Brown’s story.

Our teammate Katya discovered him in a remote village just before leaving for a rescue mission to Zaporizhzhia. Brown had been staying near the home of an elderly couple, who allowed him to shelter in their small shed. It was the only place where he could escape the freezing cold.

Brown is an older dog, and after a veterinary examination he was diagnosed with advanced heartworm disease (dirofilariasis), a serious and dangerous condition that requires treatment and care.

Despite everything he has endured, Brown is incredibly gentle and calm. He doesn’t ask for much — only warmth, safety, and kindness.

His journey to recovery is only just beginning.

Right now we also face a $700 debt at the veterinary clinic that must be paid by the end of this month. Without your help, it will be very difficult for us to continue treating dogs like Brown.
