Kindness Begins Early- A Special Visit to Irpin Kindergarten
Kindness Begins Early – A Heartwarming Visit to Irpin 💛🐾
Today, we want to share a very special thank you that comes straight from the heart.
Our wonderful team member Anya recently visited Kindergarten No. 10 “Znayko” in Irpin – a city that has endured so much, yet continues to show incredible strength and unity. What happened during this visit reminded us that compassion has no age, and that even the smallest hands can make a big difference.
Together with their parents, the children collected and donated pet food for our rescue dogs and cats. Bags of dry food, canned meals, and treats were gathered with care and kindness. For our shelter animals, this support is more than just nourishment – it is a reminder that they are not forgotten.
It means the world to us to see empathy being taught and practiced from such a young age. These children are growing up understanding that animals deserve care, protection, and love. In a world that has seen so much hardship, moments like this restore hope.
Irpin itself carries deep scars from the war, and yet its community continues to stand strong. The fact that families who have faced their own challenges still find the strength to help vulnerable animals speaks volumes about their hearts.
When Anya visited the kindergarten, she spoke with the children about rescue animals, about kindness, and about how every small action matters. The children listened with curiosity and warmth. Their excitement about helping the dogs and cats was genuine and touching. For many of them, this may be their first experience supporting animal rescue efforts – and we hope it will not be the last.
Support like this directly helps us continue our mission. Every donation of food allows us to redirect funds toward veterinary care, medical treatment, and rehabilitation for animals who have survived neglect, abandonment, and even war. It strengthens our ability to provide stable shelter, warmth, and safety for those who cannot protect themselves.
But beyond the practical support, this gesture carries something even more powerful – it spreads awareness. It plants seeds of compassion. It teaches children that kindness is an action, not just a word.
We are deeply grateful to the children and parents of Irpin Kindergarten No. 10 “Znayko” for their generosity and big hearts. Your thoughtful gift brought not only food to our animals, but also joy and encouragement to our entire team.
Thank you for showing that kindness can grow even in the most difficult times. Thank you for raising a generation that chooses empathy. 💛🐶🐱
