From Survival to Zoomies: Vishi’s One-Year Glow-Up

Vishuddah – or simply Vishi – has fully stepped into his happily-ever-after 💛
On his human’s days off, his favorite spot is never far away: tucked right under their feet while they bake, or curled up in bed soaking in every cuddle he can get.

Harness time has become a lesson in patience… mostly 😄 Some days, the zoomies still win, and Vishi launches into full rocket mode – bed to floor, couch to front door, and back again – before finally surrendering with a grin and letting the harness go on 😂

He’s grown incredibly disciplined with his meals, waiting calmly and listening closely for his release word like a true pro. And the moment his owner comes home from work? Pure, unfiltered joy – the kind that instantly washes away a long day. Vishi’s personality is equal parts sweet and hilariously goofy, and it’s hard to believe that next month marks one full year since he found his home 🥹

And to think – a year ago, Vishi was a dog people turned away from.

He was found in the Chernihiv region by our volunteer Karl, with a rope deeply embedded in his neck, causing a severe and painful infection. Karl contacted us immediately, and by the very next day, Vishi was receiving urgent medical care.

Because of compassion, fast action, and your support, Vishi healed.
Today, he is safe, adored, and living the life he always deserved with his family in the USA 🏡❤️
