From War to Warmth: Red & Eva’s Happy New Life in the USA
Do you remember Red and Eva? These two brave souls were once rescued dogs from Ukraine, their lives torn apart by war and cruelty. But today, they’re living a completely different life—one filled with love, safety, and joy, thanks to people like you.
Red and Eva were adopted by our dear friends and longtime supporters, Marc Pruitt and his sister Freida. We’re thrilled to share an update from Marc:
“My sister Freida is fine. She’s coming back tomorrow from Albuquerque. I’m taking care of Red. Him and Eva are having fun together. Red and Eva have been together for 10 days at my house having fun!”
It’s heartwarming to see how far they’ve come.
Eva, a war survivor from Zaporizhzhia, was abandoned by her owners and found severely malnourished, with an open wound on her back. Red was hit by a car during the invasion of Kyiv—his leg shattered and requiring surgery with a metal brace.
These weren’t just injuries. They were the marks of trauma, pain, and betrayal. But their story didn’t end there.
With your compassion and donations, these rescued dogs from Ukraine received medical care, safety, and eventually a one-way ticket to a better life. Today, Red and Eva are proud U.S. residents, enjoying carefree days together in a loving home.
They are living proof of what hope, resilience, and your support can achieve. ❤️🐶🐶
Thank you for being a part of their journey—from survival to joy.
