Danish volunteers bring love and hope to Ukraine stray dogs
We want to give a heartfelt thank you to our amazing Danish volunteers — Pia, Carina, and Frank! ❤️🇩🇰
Once again, they’ve made the journey from Copenhagen to Ukraine, bringing with them not just supplies and tools, but endless compassion for our Ukraine stray dogs.
Every day, Pia and Carina take our street dog puppies on long, peaceful walks through the forest, giving them a sense of freedom and joy that every rescue dog deserves. Their patience and warmth help even the most shy or traumatized dog on street begin to trust again.
Meanwhile, Frank has been hard at work renovating parts of our shelter house, creating a safer, more comfortable environment for all the dogs in our care.
But what truly moves us is the way they connect with the animals on a personal level. They don’t just feed or walk the dogs — they see them. Each dog is treated as a unique being with a story, a personality, and a deep need for love.
In a world where rescue street dogs are often overlooked, volunteers like Pia, Carina, and Frank remind us what it means to be truly seen and valued. Their presence here isn’t just practical — it’s healing.
Thank you, dear friends, for reminding our dogs that they matter. Thank you for helping us transform dog lives, one gentle walk and kind word at a time.
