Terra is a majestic and powerful Alabai with a difficult personality – and in truth, she’s just a very scared child hiding behind a tough exterior. Raised in a kennel with her sister, likely without proper training or care, she was left alone when her sister found a home and she did not.
Now at our shelter, Terra has bonded only with one staff member – Katya. With Katya, she feels safe. With others, she reacts with fear and aggression, even lashing out when offered food. Terra also suffers from hearing impairment, which makes communication harder and deepens her anxiety.
She isn’t a monster – she’s a victim of neglect. A wounded soul that never knew love.
Alabais are loyal but independent, and Terra embodies this. She needs a professional – someone experienced with her breed – to help her slowly open up.
