Urgent Support Needed for Shelter Safety

Just two days ago, our team faced a brutal attack while trying to protect our shelter. We’re doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our workers and animals 😰🥺

Today has been another exhausting and challenging day. Katya spent the entire day on the road, starting early in the morning and finishing late at night. She spent two hours at the police station finalizing a contract for a new emergency security button to safeguard everyone. She also tried to find a reliable WiFi solution for the shelter, but being in a rural area, options are very limited.

Zoya is holding up and has scheduled a doctor’s appointment, although she hasn’t been able to attend yet. She decided not to file a police report, believing it wouldn’t change anything.

The biggest challenge today was finding a safe temporary space for Tera, our outdoor dog. After much effort, Tera has been relocated to a secure private yard in a nearby village, where experienced handlers who specialize in similar dogs can care for her. The move, including her kennel, cost $150, and maintaining her safety there will cost $100 per month.
