Rescuing Paws: A Heartfelt Journey from Romania to Kyiv

Greetings. We want to express our sincere appreciation to our cherished partners at Association Remember Me France (shelter) in Romania! Since the commencement of the full-scale conflict in Ukraine, they have graciously accepted around a hundred animals from our organization and successfully facilitated the placement of nearly all of them into loving homes in France and Belgium. Their unwavering support has proven to be indispensable, and we are profoundly grateful!

Among the entrusted animals under their care, four of our dogs are still seeking their forever homes. Despite the ongoing presence of numerous animals at the shelter, we have made the decision to bring these dogs back to Kyiv. While this may not appear to be the optimal solution, our primary motivation is to assist our friends at Remember Me, understanding the inherent challenges of caring for a substantial number of animals.

A special acknowledgment goes out to our committed team members, Екатерина Курилец and Татьяна Вереновская, who went above and beyond to transport these dogs from Romania back to Kyiv! Laska, Zoe, Brenda, and Masha will now be placed in private foster homes, incurring an estimated monthly cost of $400.
